Lazy Mom Art
Mess free, the way to be…..
Happy Thursday ladies and gents,
I’m going to show you the easiest, most fun, and cleanest art project/gift idea EVER. A little background on this one….
Today is my husband’s father’s birthday, this man basically refuses to get gifts…REFUSES. So, this year I can have my 11 month old “make” a present. Cheap easy, fun AND I feel like we actually did something for his birthday. #winning
Let’s got through the quick and easy steps….
Have I mentioned how easy this is?……
1. Gather Supplies
You need next to nothing for this project.
1. A Canvas
2. Paints (my set is from the dollar store)
3. 1 Gallon Sized Ziploc Bag.
**masking tape and scissors optional**
** Optional Step **
Tape off word(s) or shape(s) using masking tape (the scissors would be used here to cut
2. Blob on Some Paint
Yup…. that’s all you’re doing here. Squirt or dab, depending on paint container, a few blobs
of paint in various places around the canvas.
3. Slide into the Ziploc and Hand to Baby
I’m not going to lie, it’s a pain in the ass trying to shove the canvas in but worth not having to hose down
my baby. They can squish it around, smack it, whatever…. all the mess stays in that bag.
4. Take it Out and Let it Dry
Yeah…… take it out of the bag, put the canvas somewhere to dry, and walk away. BOOM DONE
*** If you used masking tape on this project you MUST peel it up, I used tweezers, before the paint is dry ***
Let me know in comments how this craft went for you!
